Production Quality Engineer - Autoliv Nadhour

The Quality Production Engineer is responsible for ensuring that quality requirements are fully integrated into production processes during the industrialization phase and mass production. The role focuses on advanced quality planning, risk prevention, and continuous improvement to guarantee product and process conformity, customer satisfaction, and compliance with automotive quality standards.

Ensure product and process conformity during serial production
Monitor and control daily production quality performance
Ensure respect of control plans, work instructions, and quality standards on the shop floor
Lead and coordinate root cause analysis (8D, 5 Why, Ishikawa) for internal and external issues
Define, implement, and validate corrective and preventive actions
Manage containment actions to protect the customer and production
Act as the main quality interface for customer claims and complaints
Prepare and submit 8D reports to customers within required deadlines
Support customer audits, visits, and follow‑up actions
Monitor process performance indicators (PPM, scrap, rework, FTQ)
Analyze trends and drive continuous improvement actions
Support Lean / problem‑solving initiatives to reduce non‑quality costs
Ensure Control Plans updated based on production feedback
Ensure effective implementation of detection and prevention controls
Participate in change management (process, equipment, material changes)
Ensure compliance with IATF 16949, customer‑specific requirements, and internal procedures
Support internal, customer, and certification audits
Ensure proper documentation and traceability
Work closely with Production, Maintenance, Industrial Engineering, and Supply Chain
Support production teams in resolving quality‑related issues
Provide quality input during daily production and performance meetings

Strong command of APQP / PPAP, including documentation updates during serial life
Knowledge of SPC, MSA, capability studies (Cp/Cpk)
Knowledge of IATF 16949 / Control plan
Customer complaints
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Non quality cost reduction (scrap, rework internal /external PPM
Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field
Master’s degree in Quality Engineering,
Automotive Core tools knowledge: APQP / PPAP /MSA/SPC/FMEA &control plan
Knowledge in VDA6.3/6.5/VDA16/VDA5
Customer Specific Requirements
IATF 16949 awareness
Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing Knowledge continuous improvement
Training on 8D problem solving and root‑cause analysis tools
2–5 years of experience in production quality, manufacturing quality, or process quality engineering within an industrial environment
Experience working in the automotive industry or other high‑volume, safety‑critical sectors (a strong advantage)
Hands‑on experience with root cause analysis methods (8D, 5 Why, Ishikawa)
Practical experience with APQP/PPAP, especially updates during serial production
Experience managing control plans, PFMEAs, and process audits
Exposure to IATF 16949 requirements and customer-specific standard
Experience analyzing scrap, rework, PPM and driving improvement actions
Customer quality interaction
French & English – required to be fluent (verbal and written)
Local language (if other than English) – preferred to be fluent (verbal and written)
