Senior Purchasing Manager Tunisia
Job Summary:
Purchase of assigned commodity/parts according to SCM (Supply Chain Management) Strategy, by monitoring and analyzing the commodities market and overall economic conditions to ensure that products are purchased at competitive prices.
Core Responsibilities and Activities:
- Support and execution of the Manager/ Segment leader defined product area strategy
- Execution of the strategy in accordance to ALV standards and roadmap status
- Supply base management - preparation for board/management decisions of supplier development, qualification, consolidation and resourcing according to ALV processes
- Capacity follow-up / securing supply chain
- Re-/ Negotiation and execution of cost improvements and cost down ideas according to settled targets and frame
- Supplier management (execute Standards + legal documents, Roadmap, risk mitigation, breaking monopolies, …)
- Support of stakeholders like project Purchase and quality department in RFQs, negotiation and contract settlements.

- Several years of relevant experience in technical purchase, supplier/customer relations and the automotive development environment, in international context
- Experience in negotiations

Education:
- Technical or/and economics bachelor or master’s degree.
