The use of the Autoliv Online Recruitment System (collectively “Recruitment System”) is only allowed for its legitimate purpose. Users may not violate any Autoliv or third-party rights and may not disseminate unlawful or insecure content. Each user is responsible for any content they enter or upload into the Recruitment System. Users shall take appropriate safeguards to secure their passwords from unauthorized access. Autoliv retains the right to hold users accountable for any damages Autoliv has occurred due to user's improper usage of the Recruitment System, to the extent permitted by applicable law. Users hereby agree that all communication regarding the use of the Recruitment System may be sent to them by email, unless such is legally prohibited. Autoliv may remove illicit content without prior contacting of the user. In such cases Autoliv furthermore reserves the right to issue a temporary or indefinite prohibition on use. Users will be informed immediately of such measures. This does not substantiate any claim for reimbursement on the part of users. If Autoliv becomes aware of an illicit action by users or if Autoliv is made aware of an allegedly illicit action by user or any third parties, Autoliv may, within the bounds of legal regulations, make data relating to the persons available to law enforcement agencies and regulatory authorities. Persons below the age of 18 should not use the Recruitment System without the approval of their parents or legal guardian.
Collection & Processing of Personal Data The personal information we collect in the Recruitment System may include your name, address, email address, telephone number, date of birth, work-related skills and qualifications and any other information you provide in your resume, curriculum vitae or other data you enter. We also collect data from the capabilities testing that could be conducted during the recruitment process. We do not actively request you to provide sensitive personal data, such as health data, union membership or any other personal data considered sensitive under the relevant data privacy laws. For the purpose of providing information and data security related to this service, we collect additional data regarding your connections (such as: IP Address, user actions and timestamps) You may be required to provide certain personal information to create your Recruitment System account. If you use a third-party login to create your account (such as LinkedIn Connect) or otherwise link to us, we may receive certain information about you from that source based on your registration and privacy settings on those services.
Purpose of Processing Autoliv will use the information we collect from and about you to respond to your inquiries, evaluate your application and capabilities for employment, prevent fraudulent activities, provide services, and contact and communicate with you or research, address problems, and improve the security, usage and operations of the Recruitment System. Unsolicited applications will be compared with our open vacancies. Should your profile match any vacant position Autoliv will contact you. Possible adaptions in the purpose of processing will be brought to your knowledge and require your explicit consent.
Data Sharing Autoliv is a globally acting company group located in more than 27 countries. To ensure we can provide you with this service, your data may be transferred within the company group to the appropriate specialists, team member(s) or subsidiaries. For the purposes stated above and for effectively providing you this service, your Personal Data will be shared with third parties, to our service providers, if the disclosure will enable them to perform a business, professional, technical support function or to perform and evaluate the results of candidate capability testing for us. Such third parties may have additional privacy policies that apply.
Data Security Autoliv has implemented controls to properly protect your Personal Data. We apply technical and organizational measures to secure your data. Autoliv ensures that within the company group we take the protection of your data very seriously and have globally adapted security measures that limit access to your data only for the purposes specified above and to the personnel necessary to have access. Your data will be encrypted while in transit. In case your data is transferred to a country not providing adequate privacy rights according to the European Union, Autoliv will implement controls to ensure your rights to privacy accordingly. The same goes for all third parties involved in the processing of your data.
Data Retention Personal Data that is entered via this service will only be retained as deemed necessary to fulfil its purpose, according to the applicable retention period, depending on the application that has been filled or on the social media account that has been connected to the platform. Upon the retention period expiring, applicants will again be asked for their consent to continue processing.
After the applicable retention period expires or if consent to further process your Personal Data is withdrawn, your Personal Data will be anonymized and this anonymized data will be used for statistical purposes.
Upon request and in accordance with the applicable law, we will provide information regarding the storage of Personal Data related to you.
You can access, edit, rectify your personal information or request a copy of your data directly within the Recruitment System.
You can delete your application(s) and uploaded documents by yourself using functionality in your account. However, for complete anonymization before the regular Data Retention period, please contact us at ALV-DataPrivacy@autoliv.com. Please consider that certain data is essential for the proper functioning of the provided services and that they may no longer work without them.
Also, you can exercise the rights mentioned above, as well as: your right to request a copy of your data in a machine readable format or your right to withdraw your consent by contacting the Autoliv Data Privacy Officer at ALV-DataPrivacy@autoliv.com.
